As a business owner and mother of three, I appreciate first hand how great functional design supports everyday life. Even as a child I loved making pretty crafts, scrapbooking, and decorating my room. I loved it so much I decided to turn my passion into a career and enrolled into an Interior Decorating Program. Upon graduating I began working as an assistant to a Professional Organizer. 

I launched my Interior Decorating and Organizing business in 2013, initially working from home creating decorative wood signs with farmhouse-style quotes. As my boys grew older, I began taking on design and organizing clients, and before long, gallery walls became one of my most requested services.

A few months before Covid shut down half the world, I opened my first Etsy shop, TaraMichelleHome. Before then I had been making labels and other crafty things for local customers since 2012. Covid forced a lot of people to stay home and lucky for me, they all started to organize their homes. My Etsy shop started to pick up at the beginning of 2020. June 2021, I added Art Prints to my shop. Having three kids, I love all things kids’ bedrooms and playrooms. This inspired me to start selling art prints geared towards kids, tweens and teens. With over 16,000 online sales, I get just as excited with each new one as I did with my first one.
